Community Happenings
Nashua Medical Group takes great pride in our involvement in the communities
we serve. We understand that a little help can go a long way in people’s
lives.
Salvation Army — Angel Tags
The Salvation Army Angel Tags program provides toys and clothing for the
less fortunate in our community. For the third year in a row, the staff
at Nashua Medical Group has gathered clothing items and toys throughout
the months of November and December. In total, the staff collected enough
items to care for 25 families in need.
Harvard Pilgrim HealthCare — 911 Mini Grants
Harvard Pilgrim HealthCare offers their staff the option of requesting
Mini Grants for local non-profit agencies. Our staff members have chosen
agencies in our community to be awarded money.
Nashua Food Pantry
Nashua Medical Group’s Tracy Townsend, learned that our local food
pantries need assistance now more than ever. Around the holidays, they
receive lots of attention and assistance, but during the summer months,
the food pantry gets low on supplies. Tracy and her fellow co-workers
worked together to donate much needed pantry items.
Nashua Medical Group Sponsors the Hudson Youth T-Ball
Nashua Medical Group sponsored the Hudson Youth T-ball team called the
Royals. "The Hudson leagues could not exist without local business
sponsors.”
Family Fun Fest
Each year, the staff from Nashua Medical Group gathers up fun and exciting
crafts projects for the kids attending the Family Fun Fest in Nashua.
This great community event, run by Parenting of NH and the Healthy Kids
Program of NH, includes raffles, giveaways, music and much more.
United Way
Each year, the staff at Nashua Medical Group and Harvard Pilgrim HealthCare
get together and raise funds for the United Way. Through individual donations
and raffles, money raised each November is used to benefit local organizations
right in our community.
Nashua Chamber of Commerce
Nashua Medical Group is an active member of the Chamber of Commerce and
participates in the Annual Small Business Expo and the Tri-City Expo.
